The North Carolina Wildlife Federation is teaming up with the Friends of the Mountains to Sea Trail to restore a section of trail running alongside Lick Creek that’s in need of a litter sweep. Volunteers will split up into teams and tackle areas rich in debris. The majority of the cleanup effort will take place in the woods where volunteers can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while giving back to the trail and the surrounding habitat.

All supplies will be provided but please come equipped with a full water bottle and clothes/shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.

Parking at the trailhead is limited. We will park and meet at a nearby Harris Teeter (1432 Brogden Wds Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587). After a brief introduction, we’ll carpool over together. See you there!
