From the mountains to the coast, North Carolina is teeming with diverse wildlife species, breathtaking natural landscapes, and a community of individuals committed both to preserving these species and cherishing these shared landscapes.

This summer, NCWF is hosting the 5th Annual Wildlife Photo Contest, inviting professional, amateur, and youth photographers to submit photographs that capture the essence of North Carolina’s wildlife, scenes, and people.

Categories for submission include Carolina Critters, People in Nature, Scenes of North Carolina, and Pollinators and Insects.

Entry donations start at $15 for 12 photos (3 max per category). All proceeds support wildlife habitat conservation and restoration in North Carolina. All photos must be submitted electronically through NCWF’s website.

All levels of photographers are encouraged to participate! There will be one adult winner selected per category in the Professional and Amateur groups, and one overall Youth winner (18 and under). Winning photos will be featured on NCWF’s website, social media, and more! The contest is open from July 1 to September 1, so get snapping!
