Hiking for Habitat: Day 25, April 16

April 16 (18 miles)

Back on the trail. 18 miles today from Penny’s Bend to Occoneechee Golf Club. I took in the familiar sights and sounds of the Eno River. Ellie met me again and the Huffs picked me up again in the evening for another home-cooked meal. Can’t say I deserve all of the support, but it sure does fill me with joy to hike in such a beautiful place and be surrounded by such loving people.
